Bamboo and Chinoiserie Chinese Chippendale Fretwork three-tier corner display, with three triangular black lacquered chinoiserie shelves, each with a different but conforming beautifully hand-painted and gilded bird in floral spray, the center shelf with a stylized pheasant, the bamboo supernodal ridges with gilt highlights, with black ebonized terminal buttons, English, ca. 1880. The highest possible quality, this versatile piece can be used free-standing or on a tabletop. In Excellent and Original Antique Condition.
