George Jones Majolica 'EUROPE' centerpiece, English, 1872 The shaped bowl supported by an oak tree, with a standing stag, reclining doe, and a rabbit, the bottom band impressed, 'EUROPE,' the reverse with British Registry lozenge for 23 December 1871. This design is documented in the Karmeson Library of the Majolica International Society, ID 6097, number KL000497P with the designation, 'Extremely Rare.'
