George Jones Majolica Sardine Box on Pink Ground, English, ca. 1866, the box molded with green acanthus leaves on a pink ground, with matching underplate, the lid molded in high relief with three sardines, the top one forming the knop, with turquoise interior, the reverse with painted design number '1805.'
