A Wedgwood Majolica Cabinet Plate, English, 1877, Designed for Wedgwood by General Henry Hope Crealock (British 1831--1891), the central scene depicting a transfer printed and hand-embellished fox in a woodland setting, the reverse glazed in cobalt and green mottled tortoiseshell with impressed marks, WEDGWOOD and three-letter date code for April 1873.
