Chinese Export Famille Rose Square Dish, the well profusely decorated with fruit and floral sprays, butterflies, and a single multi-colored and gilded pheasant, the cavetto with a single gilt band, the shaped rim with two opposite panels with a tasseled sword among fruit and floral sprays, the linked Chinese characters forming a cartouche enclosing a silkworm, a butterfly, and a fruiting cherry sprig, the remaining two sides with lantern-form roundels with a pair of pheasants, flanked by a butterfly to one side and a green-glazed fierce sea creature with ropes and tassels, with a red-glazed bat (longevity) to two corners, along with a gilded Chinese symbol for good health.
