Holdcroft Majolica Strawberry Server, the relief molded dish of leaf form with green glazed strawberry leaves, with pink and yellow glazed strawberries, the cream and sugar wells naturalistically molded as birds' nests, each lined with strawberry leaves, surmounted with a life-size English Great Tit, glazed in black, shades of grey, with a yellow and ochre glazed breast, English, ca. 1875. This design is included in the Karmason Library of the Majolica International Society with the designation: "Rare."
