Vintage Louis Vuitton “Speedy 25" Monogram Handbag, Spain April 2000. This iconic speedy was first introduced in the 1930's and was designed as an alternative for the larger "Keepall" bag. The bag was referred to as the "express bag" and was the original speedy size at 25 cm wide which also came into production per the request of Audrey Hepburn. This speedy is made from monogrammed coated canvas, leather vachetta piping and brass hardware, original LV lock included, "Louis Vuitton" heat stamp to pull tabs and date code of SP0040 under interior pocket on vachetta tab.

Condition: Patination and wear consistent with age to vachetta handles, slight creasing to exterior monogram canvas, Light wear to vachetta pull tabs and zipper. Scuffing to hardware. Light oxidation to brass hardware. Bag has been recently cleaned and detailed.
