In 2008, the iconic fashion house Louis Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs collaborated with legendary designer and childhood inspiration, Stephen Sprouse. In the 1980's, Sprouse became known in the fashion world for his loud colors and bold patterns which drew inspiration from the likes of Debbie Harry, Billy Idol and Duran Duran. In 2001, Jacobs reached out to Sprouse to re-imagine the Louis Vuitton logo which birthed the graffiti, rose and leopard patterns that were reissued in 2006, 2008 and later in 2010. This extremely rare and highly sought after piece of Louis Vuitton history was handcrafted in Spain in limited quantities for 2010 - 2011 runway collection. Sprouse's take on the classic wallet includes a leopard pattern on a durable vernis patent textile with a hint of glitter woven into the the rogue and pink background. Structured rigid shape is hand crafted from premium calf patent leather with adorning brushed gold hardware, full around zip lock closure and plenty of internal storage compartments. This wallet opens to a burgundy calf leather lined interior with plenty of room to house all of your essentials including two interior slip pockets with leather "Lous Vuitton Paris - Made in Spain" heat stamp.
