Hermès "Harnais de Cour" 90cm Orange Silk Scarf by Philippe Ledoux, 2021. This incredibly rare and highly sought after design "Court Harness" or French for was originally designed in 1977. Handcrafted in France to the highest luxury standards, Hermès scarves are true wearable pieces of art that take 18 months to create from start to finish with over 750 artisan hours into each scarf design. The scarf design and color-way was made by one of Hermès most prolific designers, Philippe Ledoux who was responsible for many designs such as "Springs" and "Napoleon". This particular scarf is a 2021 re-issue and comes in the beautiful signature Hermès orange and pale pink color-way that depicts scenes from the traditional French court garb for horses. Scarf is in great like new condition with plump hand rolled edges. Full condition report and specifications listed below:
