Hermès Reversible Epsom and Swift Leather Constance "H" 66cm Buckle Belt, 1997.

$975.00

Hermès Reversible Epsom and Swift Leather Constance "H" 66cm Buckle Belt with Gold Hardware, 1997. Originally introduced in the Mid 20th Century, the Hermes "H" interchangeable belt buckle was designed by stylist Catherine Karoly for Hermès first ever womens ready to wear collection. The iconic "H" was added to the classic leather belt which was initially designed during the late 19th Century for the equestrian line. Since its inception, the "H" belt has transformed into a number of styles with the "Constance" being the most recent and most popular edition. This particular reversible bi-color constance belt was handcrafted in France during 1997 from premium epsom and swift leather in black and natural coloration and "H" buckle in gold plated hardware in size "66" or a US XS. This transitional piece can worn from day to night and can be used to add a touch of class and style to any outfit! This belt has a date stamp of “A” in square, indicating the year made (1997), and also has a small "317" craftsman stamp symbolizing the section of the atelier where the belt was constructed. Comes with certificate of authenticity and original Hermes box. In great pre-owned condition with light wear shown on the hardware. Full specifications and detailed condition report listed below:
