Hermès "Les Voitures a Transform" Silk Scarf by Françoise De La Perriere, 1967. "Les Voitures a Transform", or french for "transforming carriages" depicts various models of Mid to Late 19th century convertible carriages and their interchangeable hard and soft tops in a rare grey, white and gold trimmed color way. Handcrafted in France to the highest luxury standards, Hermès scarves are true wearable pieces of art that take 18 months to create from start to finish with over 750 artisan hours into each scarf design. This extremely popular and highly sought after piece was made by famous French Hermès artist, Françoise De La Perriere who was responsible for many iconic designs such as "Bride de Cour" and "Etriers". Originally issued in 1967, the design of the "Les Voitures a Transform" was inspired by the transitional period of automobiles during the industrial revolution. Scarf is in good vintage condition with light use shown throughout and plump hand rolled edges.

Condition: Good pre-owned condition with slight signs of use throughout and small stain to edge of scarf. Tiny makeup stain. Edges are still very plump. Hermes label is missing, but has been authenticated. Comes with original box and Hermès ribbon.
