George Jones Majolica Strawberry Server, ca. 1870, the trefoil dish naturalistically moldelled with blossoming strawberry plants and ferns on a turquoise and rustic ground, surmounted by a life-Size Thrush perched on simulated branches between two molded bird nests forming the cream and sugar wells; the reverse with impressed British Registry Diamond for 8 March 1870, and painted design number '3556' to the thumbprint reserve.

This design is documented in the Karmason Library of the Majolica International Society, Number KL001954P, with the designation 'Rare.'
