First introduced in the early 1940's, the Gucci bamboo bag came into production as materials around Europe became scarce. Bamboo, which could still be abundantly sourced from Japan, was used under the influence of heat by Gucci craftsmen in a way that would retain its shape once positioned to the bag. This classic bamboo top handle bag is assembled in Italy using 140 pieces by skilled Gucci craftsmen in exotic brown lizard skin, calfskin lined interior with gold brushed hardware and painted bamboo handle. Roomy interior houses two interior slip pockets and one zip pocket. This rare bag also comes with a single fold wallet in lizard, compact mirror as well as a dust bag. This bag is in excellent pre-owned condition with small signs of wear to left corner and interior.

Condition: Overall great pre-owned condition with very little signs of wear. Bottom corners of bag show slight darkening, light scratches throughout the interior. Accessories also show signs of wear in the leather and to the mirror.
