The mademoiselle chain and lock which was named after the fact that Chanel never married and are two staples that make Chanel bags a forever timeless classic. Due to the rise in popularity of Lady Diana carrying this style bag during the 1990's, Chanel coined it the "Diana". This particular Diana flap bag comes in a beautiful red lambskin leather with 24-Karat gold plated "CC" mademoiselle twist lock, chain and hardware. Interior houses the same color rich lambskin with the classic fold over flap with two separate inner storage compartments, one zipped and one slip pockets. Mademoiselle chain extends to a full 20.5" and can be worn in the shoulder or cross-body style. Comes with original Chanel dust bag and certificate of authenticity.
