Chanel Deep Marine Patent Leather Jumbo Classic Double Flap Bag, 2010 - 2011. The mademoiselle chain and lock which was named after the fact that Chanel never married, are two staples that make Chanel bags a forever timeless classic. After years of the success of the 2.55 bag, the next step for the Chanel brand was the addition of Karl Lagerfield who took over the fashion house in the early 1980's. The classic flap bag was updated by Lagerfield in the silhouette, turn lock closure as well as available sizing. This particular double flap bag comes in a beautiful, dark marine green lambskin patent leather with silver plated "CC" mademoiselle lock, chain and hardware. Interior houses a rich navy lambskin leather snap closure pocket with three inner storage compartments as well as an exterior rear slip pocket. Mademoiselle chain can be worn two ways as a double shoulder strap at 13" or to the full 23" strap drop length. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with slight signs of wear to the leather strap. Tiny scuffing to silver-plated hardware, Marks on the patent leather on the front of the purse right near bottom flap, bottom left, the backside of the bag as well as the bottom. These marks are dark and not very noticeable due to the dark coloration of the bag.
