Chanel Black Tall Lambskin Double Flap Mademoiselle Chain Shoulder Bag, 1989 - 1991. The iconic Chanel bag was originally issued by Coco Chanel in February 1955 which became the very first socially acceptable shoulder bag for the modern day woman of considerable social status, thanks to Chanel. The mademoiselle chain and lock which was named after the fact that Chanel never married and are two staples that make Chanel bags a forever timeless classic. This particular double flap bag comes in a beautiful supple black lambskin leather with 24-Karat gold plated "CC" mademoiselle twist lock, mademoiselle chain and hardware. Interior houses the same traditional rich burgundy lambskin with the classic double fold over flap with large interior housing three separate inner storage compartments, two slip pockets and one zipped. Two slip pockets complete the double flap bag shape with one large on the front and backside of flapped interior. Mademoiselle chain extends to a full 16" and can be worn on the shoulder or cross-body style. This bag is in good pre-owned condition, with light wear to overall structure with slight creasing to lambskin inside and out. Full condition report and specifications listed below:

Condition: GRADE: 3. Wear to bag is consistent with age and use. Bag has been lightly carried over time with signs of use to exterior with press marks and a few minor scratches to exterior flap. There is some slight creasing to sides and flap closure as well as some scratches to interior slip pocket. 24KT hardware has light scratching on the lock and chain that are also consistent with age. Interior is in excellent condition with serial number to interior of main compartment.
