Hermès Black Swift Leather Caleche Buckle Belt "75" CM with Gold Hardware, 2019. The iconic "Caleche" logo, or French for a low four wheeled horse drive carriage, was designed in 1945 by Alfred de Dreux to honor the establishment of quality wrought bridles and harnesses created for the carriage industry in 1873 by Thierry Hermès. Since its inception, the Hermes belt has transformed into a number of styles with interchangeable buckles consisting of iconic designs such as the "caleche" and the "constance" buckles in a variation of designs and colorations. This particular reversible bi-color constance belt was handcrafted in France during 2019 from premium epsom and swift leather in black and natural coloration and "Caleche" buckle in gold plated hardware in size "75" or a US XS. This transitional piece can worn from day to night and can be used to add a touch of class and style to any outfit! This belt has a date stamp of “D, indicating the year made (2019), and also has a small "290" craftsman stamp symbolizing the section of the atelier where the belt was constructed.
