Atelier Versace Purple and Black Floral Ganymede Print Silk Twill Scarf by Versace circa 1994. Established in 1978, Gianni Versace became well known world wide for his use of bold and bright prints inspired and designed around ancient Greek mythology. This Versace design was inspired by the Greek God Ganymede, the god of love and desire who also served as the cup bearer to Zeus. This scarf was hand-crafted out of silk twill in Italy and has beautiful hand rolled plump edges and is in excellent, almost new vintage condition.
