Guglielmo Ulrich (1904-1977), a towering figure of 20th century design, produced these luxurious and urbane chairs. They exude glamour and deep-pile comfort, with a playful sense of humor. Packed with personality, they are built with the highest quality craftsmanship. His biographer, contemporary arichetect Luca Scacchetti writes of Ulrich's milieu: "It was a world where effort was not supposed to show through too much, and money even less, this exclusive urbane cosmos that supported luxury but never opulence. Guglielmo Ulrich became the leading creative figure of this Milan."
